Concept:
Civil society has emerged over the centuries through the risks and involvement of individuals. In our society, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is a quintessential example of this ethic and a fingerprint symbolizes our own individuality.
The challenge to this piece was integrating the fingerprint from Dr. King’s booking papers with the stoicism of his mug shot.
