We humans are uniquely driven to explain the world around us and seek answers to questions through religion, philosophy, and science. Our questions range from trivial to seeking explanations of our existence and reasons for being. I believe there are three fundamental questions we ask ourselves:
- From where do we come?
- What are we doing here?
- Where do we go after death?
Origins is a series of works that explore the first of these questions; from where do we come? The pieces range from the creation of chemical elements to the expression of the human soul, and are loosely arranged in that order.
